Delta Lady

There goes that Delta lady fine and sophisticated
I wonder how she holds her head so high Speaks with confidence as she stares into your eye

Never conceited or phony, she is as real as one can be. That Delta lady I must emulate, she is on I aim to be

I watch her through trials and tribulations She never gives up, gets down, or complains. There goes that Delta lady who is refined and dedicated

I see her in the community dressed in red from head to toe. That Delta lady just gives and gives never letting go

Her sisterly attitude and love, are what
captured my attention She is truly , a sanctified lady, and one of good character I am glad to have this Delta lady grace me with her presence

She told me about her morals, values, and beliefs
She said it started in 1913 with the Founders of DST
